Addiction is a leading issue impacting North Dakota communities, families, and lives. We want to change that.

More than 70,000 people in the U.S. died from a drug overdose in 2019. These statistics are alarming, and family heartaches are attached to each one. Matto Foundation is working to end addiction through community-fueled awareness and education.

Our Mission

We educate kids and families to Delay, Decrease, and Defeat substance abuse and addiction.

OUR APPROACH

Our message of Delay, Decrease, and Defeat is the "bicycle helmet" approach to helping parents talk with their kids about drugs and alcohol. This approach helps delay the use of substances and, in turn, helps saves the adolescent brain from long-term consequences.
